Barbara J. Bandy, 84, of Burley passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at home.

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Barbara Jane Bandy. Born in Burley, Idaho February 6, 1939. She passed away January 30, 2024 at the young age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave condolences on the memorial page. She is proceeded in death by the love of her life Donald Bandy and her parents Richard and Zelda Peacock. Two of her siblings Jewell and Jay Peacock, her daughter-in-law Melissa Bandy, and nephew Jimmy Peacock. Barbara was a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great-grandmother. Barbara and Donald married on October 18, 1956 and had 5 children. Barbara worked for 18 years at Kraft Foods. She enjoyed her sewing room, where she made many beautiful quilts and all the treasures many of us have in our homes today. She loved to be outside enjoying the beautiful flowers and trees in her yard. She adored camping especially in Wild horse. Our grandma was an amazing, kindhearted, caring women. We learned so much from her. She was never afraid to jump in and help. Barbara is survived by her children Richard Bandy of Hagerman, Steve (Ann) Bandy of Jerome, Patty Bandy, Sherry (Glenn) Rowley and Jonathan Bandy all from Burley. Barbara is also survived by her two siblings Arlene Burton of Burley and Mike (Vicky) Peacock of Washington. And many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

A Gathering for family and friends will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2024 at Morrison Payne Funeral Home.  Services are under the direction of Morrison Payne Funeral Home.
